Adobe Lightroom: In Depth Look at the Develop Module

Sunday, April 9
10 AM - 1 PM
CSI Spadina (192 Spadina Ave. Toronto)
Cost: $45 + HST
SIGN-UP

We're running another Lightroom Workshop after the success of the last one we ran.

Adobe Lightroom has become the standard for post image processing. We've all used it but how many of us really know how to use it properly?

If you're tired of blindly pushing and pulling those adjustment sliders without really knowing what they do, this session for you.

We'll spend 3-hours using the DEVELOP MODULE deconstructing the tools used with many examples.

We'll show you how to develop your images using techniques such as:

- optimizing white balance to set the mood
- Colours adjustments
- Sharpness to make your images pop
- Targeted custom adjustments to bring out the essence of the image to align with your vision

By the end you'll have the confidence to process your images from RAW capture to the finished product that you can print or share online.

We'll meet at 215 Spadina Ave. at the beautiful Centre for Social Innovation space. Coffee and tea will be provided.

Meetup - Spring Fling

Winter has finally taken a bow and said its goodbye. It's a great time to dust off your camera and get out there and MAKE pictures again.

So with the nicer weather, we're having a short outing in the downtown core. We'll take a walk around the neighborhood and get inspired. Also a great opportunity to meet fellow photographers and talk shop.

Please RSVP
Saturday May 14, 10am - 12:00ish
215 Spadina Ave. (in the lobby)

At the end of the walk, we'll loop back to 215 Spadina Ave. and for those who are interested, we'll do a short critique using our ipads. Our approach is giving you constructive criticism; what's good about the shot and ways it could have been improved. It's the best way to learn.

See you then!
