Join us at Nathan Phillips Square for an evening of low-light photography fun. It’s the holiday season and Nathan Phillips Square is transformed into a visual delight. See the 60 foot Christmas tree, bustling ice rink and 525,000 festive LED lights.
Low-light and night photography presents unique challenges and we will show you the ins and outs of how to get your shot. You'll learn techniques on how to dial in exposure, get sharp focus, control white balance, and create interesting light-trails and ghostly effects. Night is indeed a magical time for photographers as colours are more intense and offer a great opportunity for creativity.
We like to keep this workshop fun and enjoyable. Put on your long johns and bring your camera for 2 hours of creative image making!
Don't forget to bring:
• Camera + lens
• Extra batteries
• Sturdy tripod (optional but recommended)
• Dress appropriately
