The Cheltenham Badlands is a rare and spectacular phenomenon in Ontario. Badlands refers to a geological term for an area of soft rock devoid of vegetation and soil cover which over time becomes molded into a landscape of rounded hills and gullies. The reddish hue we see indicates a high iron oxide concentration in the soil.
This workshop is for beginner and intermediate-level photographers. The Badlands provide an excellent opportunity to beef up your composition skills. We’ll spend our time learning about composition and how to create engaging and powerful images.
We keep our workshop groups small, so what you’ll receive is hands-on, one-on-one photography instruction. Student to instructor ratio is 5:1.
